Lifeboat station opens its doors for the autumn
The station's open day moves from spring to autumn this year, after two washed-out Aprils in a row. The new inshore boat arrived in July and has been out eleven times since.
There will be tea in the boathouse, a demonstration launch at two if the tide allows, and the volunteer roster is open for anyone who can commit to a weekend a month.
A demonstration: Saltmarsh and its Ledger are invented. Built by plinth from EDN and Markdown; the front's further pages are real pages and are also pulled in place where scripts run, and a click from the front to a story and back swaps the page in place, every address still a real page.
